2009 TOURNEY INFO
- WHO: Anyone who is interested in playing. We'll be playing as doubles this year!
- WHAT: Friendly disc golf tournament celebrating the memory of Dominic.
- WHEN: Friday, August 7th - Sunday, August 9th
- WHERE: Starting 1:00pm Friday at Big Eau Pleine Park, Mosinee. Then up to the Highbridge disc golf complex for camping and disc for the rest of the weekend.
TOURNEY HISTORY
Along with our commemoration of Dominic, the Dominator Classic tournament stands as a competition for the coveted victory chalice (shown below).
The chalice was forged from enchanted components, purchased for a reasonable price at Goodwill. The base was a heavy lamp stand in its former life, and the top a common planter. Once combined, these pieces proved to be a heavy source of supernatural power.
As a reward for victory, the tournament winner receives the chalice to hold for an entire year, and make personal use of it as they see fit (torch, house-cup, and bludgeon are but a few examples). However, when the next year's tournament rolls around, it is again up-for-grabs to the top competitor.
